Not to mention what a little extra light can do to help abused middle aged eyes 😉 A location scout is always poking around in a shoulder bag or camera bag or might need some guiding light going thru a dark building. I have been in all those situations myself numerous times. With the light located in the bill of the hat, your hands are free and you just point your head where you need some light 🙂
